He did the commentary on eurovision too, with some other really sarcastic guy. It was genius television. Best eurovision I've seen on dutch telly so far.

Every country in europe submits an "artist"/"group"/"band" to the eurovision song festival and the "best" (they're all horrible, horrible) ones get to perform their "song" that special evening... and then the people in europe can call and vote and at the end of the night one country wins the festival.

Fans include gay people, students, senior citizens and random people with a sense of humor.

I liked Finland, too. I tried to vote for it but I couldn't get through. So,
I tried to vote for the Lithuanians (which I really liked, because nobody
else seemed to like them), but the same again. Finland was GREAT! (y)

I have been totally sick of European Song Contest, the music has been so bad. Can't remember watching a whole show since the end of the 70's. I don't even like going to gay clubs cause they always play this shit. Especially during the weeks (or months) before and after the festival and during Gay Pride week it's unbearable.

This year I heard the first round of Swedish songs when they were pre-played on the radio the first time and they interviewed all the artists as well and it sounded just as crap as before. It is such a pity that my (former) favourite actor is such a Eurovision nut.

I'm glad that Lordi won, that made quite a few people I know happy. My friend's oldest daughter has been mad about them since the day one and on Saturday at Pet Sounds (record store) I bumped into this guy who has a big club here. I tried to make him book Rasmus about ten years ago, but he wouldn't have it. Of course he's had them several times now and always makes a comment for me that he should've listened to me (I used to book bands in the late 80's and continued a little in the 90's mainly helping my friends). He said he was gonna call a thousand times to vote for Lordi, so I guess it paid then...
