Message board time

...why is the BB message board time about 16 minutes ahead of the world clock? Just curious. Does that help get customers cleared out before closing time? I've worked in a few places that did the same thing.

It's a software issue which causes the clock to run too fast. Even if we reset it to the correct time, it'll still get ahead.

this issue has been around for the last few years. i actually think it would be kind of tricky to fix it. like minton said, even if we would reset it, it will just get ahead.
