Fuck all that "It's a man's world" bullshit... At least I've never had an advantage over a woman, quite on the contrary. Most woman I know has had more opportunities in the workforce than I have. That's just the start of things.

I think that in general, many men get treated like shit while we are expected to be honorable and chivilrous. In most cases I do so out of my own free will, but there have been times where I had to really try to be right when the woman REALLY didn't deserve it. WTF?

And don't gimme no woman hating crap. I don't. Its women who get away with hating men and dat shit juss aint right

well its not really the case in my workplace, but it is very much so in many. if you disagree, you're underestimating women's abilities.

Actually, being hot or not has not much to do with being paid .75 for every dollar that men make or being raped or harassed. I've seen men oogle and whoop and harass 12 year old girls and just recently a 75 year old woman was raped in my area. Women are expected to do the dirty work when it comes to childrearing and if something goes wrong, then she gets the lion's share of the blame. Beauty can't shield you from everything...there is a good and a bad side to it because sometimes you want to be treated as a person and not just a painting. It ain't about beauty....but that I got plenty of. :D

Seriously though, I know others will chime into this thread with their experiences.


i don't expect that from my woman. i would have the child myself if i could even if i had to poop it out. as a guy i want to be treated as an individual just as much as any woman does. :o dudes get categorized and generalized just as much

That's not quite true. We had a "take back the night" day on campus a few weeks back and it really opened up my eyes. They had a tee-shirt campaign where rape/harassment victims could design tee-shirts anonymously and they hung them on clotheslines all around campus. There were quite a few men tee's, saying how they wouldn't come forward because of the stigma society puts on men facing harassment. It really bothered me, because I've always assumed that men don't have to deal with that sort of thing, but they do.

reverse sexism. we need it until things even out. like giving uni places to the indigenous. you need to give people opportunities, otherwise they continue to remain oppressed.

Honestly, if I feel bad for any demographic anymore, it's young white males. Thanks to their bloated annoying forefathers, this demographic got a horrible name for itself, and now from where I'm sitting, it seems the young guys are being stiff armed outta everything. Why when the pendulum swings too far one way must it always swing all the way to the other side before returning to center...

I am a woman with a full-time career who hasn't had the chance to settle down get married or have kids yet (I'm 32) cause I'm too busy working?! After I work all damn day I get to then come home and clean the house. :mad:
