Are there any safe pills that can help with water weight? I'm gettin' my monthly pain in the ass next week (yes when I'm at the beach) and I don't want to feel or look fat. Seriously, I get like 5 pounds of water weight.
Do any of you fine bitches know anything that'll help? Anyone? :(

lipotropic formulas will flush it out of you fast, but they can be dangerous. go with a safe, herbal diuretic that has uva ursi, cornsilk, or dandelion (or all three) in it. i take a pms tea that has uva ursi in it and it works very well for me around that time o' the month. just make sure you still drink plenty o' water when you're doing anything to flush it out of you...so you don't get dehydrated!

i tend to hold jennifer aniston's water too, since celebrities can't do it themselves.

These two things help me:
. eat strawberries (they're a natural diuretic)
. reduce your caffeine intake in general
Those things are simple, but they've been effective for me in reducing or preventing mild water retention.
A friend of mine did Atkins a few years ago and he lost something like 10# (all water) in the first 10 days. I suppose there is some sort of flushing function when you're in that severe-carb-restricted induction stage. I am dubious about that diet or most trendy things like it.

There's something called Adios which I have heard works - you should be able to get it from health food stores

i use a PMS formula tea by Seelect, but other than that i've only ever used Nature's Herbs (a division of Twinlab, a huge company) Diur-Tabs a few times. they worked well. most herbal diuretic formulas are going to be like that.
what enree suggested is (y) too. i don't have caffeine (except the occasional green tea), so i assume nobody else does, either.

I remember telling my boyfriend that once I die I want my ashes buried in a garden. He said "aw honey, that way, we know exactly where you are: the are where NOTHING GROWS BECAUSE THERE IS SO MUCH SALT IN THE GROUND"
:/
I seriously pour salt on everything :(
