View Full Version : Are you a day person or night?

I never really cared for daytime activities. There's always too many people around and it's too bright. The only thing I do like at daytime is taking my daughter to the park or going hiking but, that's about all.
I prefer rainy days over nice days too. Taking a walk in the rain at about 6 or 7 pm, just when it's about to get dark.
Watching the sun set rather than rise has always been cooler to watch. More coloration in the sky. A setting sun casts a better reflection on the water too.
Winter nights look better than days as well, the way the moon contrasts off of the snow.

I'm both! I wake up naturally around 11, do shit until about 5ish, take a nap, and then I'm up till 2 AM and then sleep. So I get all that sunshine in, plus a decent nightlife. It rules.
I've always love sunsets more than sunrises, though. Something about it is awesome. Closing of a great day and suggesting what's to come during the night. If that makes sense, which I'm sure it doesn't.
I'm a night person.. Seems like I get more energy after 10pm so I'm up until around 4am or so.. Then I wake up at about 9

No, I used to live in West Palm but only for 8 months. This was prior to hurricane Andrew.
Yeah, it was a long time ago.

My natural rhythm is to wake up between 5-6a and to be in bed by 9:30 or 10p. I've always been that way.
I rarely sleep straight through the night. During milder weather when I can't sleep, I'll often get up--usually at around 1a--and walk outside, often in one of the nearby cemeteries. I like rainy, weather-moody days and I love to watch the sky on either side of the day when the sun is just below the horizon.

Definitely night person. I get more done late evenings than during the day. At least I feel more alert.

yes, like teh sexx0rz, ha!
and just generally night-time craziness with your flatmates that doesn't involve sex. like, for example, last night my flatmate [who is gay and therefore i don't mind him seeing my flesh] decided he really wanted to find out the volume of my right breast, and preceeded to first try paper mache, and then dry homemade play-doh. play-doh worked. we put it in the oven, and then we're gonna make a big ice-cast from the centre. my boyfriend, on the phone, said "if scott makes a paper mache of your naked boob, i'm never gonna speak to you again" - this is a sentence i would never have dreamed of hearing in my life, ha! scott fears nipples though, so it's not like he even saw a boob. just boob flesh.
yeah. things get pretty surreal in my flat.
also cool things like late night tv, chatting on the interwebs while drinking, drinking in general, dinner parties, walking in the moonlight, thunderstorms, all the cool isht.

hahaha. the volume of your hooter. that's great.
night all the way. i like the morning, and i like having the whole day to myself, but i'm much more alive in the evening. i used to be a lot worse, and sleep until 1 every weekend, but now i can't sleep past 10 at the latest. stupid responsibility.

my creativity level is higher as in playing my guitar or writing lyrics. It seems that I develope an artist's block during the day and I can't think of anything new to make.
Also I'm more groggy when I wake up in the morning. 5am sounds way worse than 5pm. It's harder for me to adapt in the morning hours.

i remember being 7, 8 years old and not being able to sleep no matter what time i went to bed. i remember rolling over and seeing the clock...1:45...2:30...and still i couldn't sleep. my body clock's always been set up that way. even now, when i wake up at 6 for work or school, i still can't fall asleep until at least midnight or 1 am.

Night, definitely. Working shifts is okay as I get to experience a lot of night / really early mornings, then sleep all day. It's kinda cool.

I love being up and at 'em in the morning before other people. I get so much more done, and then, running errands in the afternoon is nicer, too -- traffic-wise, lines-at-register-wise, etc. When I was younger, I used to stay up all hours, and I guess in a perfect world, I still would, but these days, I'm a early-to-bed-early-to-rise guy.

Nah they don't bother with people over about 21. So you'd be OK. They also only try shit if they outnumber you at least 2 to 1.
But thanks for the sarcasm. (y)
Apparently Beanie Sigel likes to get shot during the daytime.(y)

couldn't help it. That's the least of the problems I've seen.
Working in corrections before in an open bay with 60 inmates per bay, all of them with life sentences was about the smallest threat leveled job I've had.

the best schedule I ever had was in my reckless 20's and to wake up at midnight and start your day there is pretty righteous if your a club junkie.
Still to date, when time allows I get my days and nights mixxed up. Bc bw 2-5AM in BKK is NUTZ
