man, i feel bad for making everyone down in the dumps with the sad songs - however interesting they are [think i'm gonna check some of your choices out and download them!] so how about some happy songs?

the first two which come to my head are:
beastie boys - netty's girl which makes me lol every time.
paul simon - you can call me al. and generally all of graceland. makes me have a wee dance.

this list is endless too. but i'll start with

Kiss /Tom Jones [the drums are sexy, and the "dance break" just crazy.]
Do You Think I'm Sexy /Rod Stewart [yes i do. and i love the melody.]

i think i'd better dance now.....

then there's all these corny songs, e.g.

Tarzan & Jane /Toy-Box
Happy Boys & Girls /Aqua

^ always make me smile/lol.

I think ELO's "Mr. Blue Sky" is one of the most insanely brave happy songs I've ever heard. (y)

Lately, my happy songs are The Raconteurs' "Steady as She Goes" and Can's "Vitamin C."

The Cars' Just What I Needed. I'm not particularly impressed with myself over this, but it's true.
