I just got the DVD, and it's impressive. Kanye is an excellent entertainer, and the strings really set off the tracks on the list. Crack Music, Touch the Sky and Gone sound the best IMO. Heard em Say has a sick arrangement, too. It all benefits from Abbey Road being the best sounding venue ever.

It's going to take a lot for me to be more impressed with the Beasties film, especially since Kanye's is actually on shelves. The sound is fucking nuts. Funky Hi-Fi would have the system best equipped to deal with it, no doubt.(y)

Setlist:
Diamonds from Sierra Leone
Touch the Sky
Crack Music
Drive Slow
Through The Wire (always good)
Workout Plan
Heard Em Say
All Falls Down
Bring Me Down
Gone
Late
Jesus Walks (I like this song, but feel like a hypocrite seeing as I don't believe in Jesus).

The videos for the LR singles are on here, as well as bonus rehearsal footage and an interview where Kanye lives up to hi 'Homsexual Rapper' tag (props, mickill).

The most disturbing concept is in the Michel Gondry video for Heard em Say, where it's Kanye and those kids living in that box, and then 'playing' in Macy's. It's a little too MJ for me.

how did I never hear of this?

Amazon lists a release date of June 6th for the DVD and May 30th for the CD of the performance. The CD alone is 32 bucks cuz it's an import.

I'll be buying both.

ps, "gone" just might be one of my favorite hip-hop tracks of all time.

"Gone" bangs and the first verse ill. I just can't stand Cam. Ruins the track.
