i've been bumming around with the "random article" button and seriously, the majority of it is really esoteric shit that maybe 3 people could possibly care about (see my high school thread, for example). makes me wonder why the button exists.

for instance,

Chau Tsai Kok (洲仔角) is an island off an island Tap Mun in the northeastern New Territories of Hong Kong, opposite to the town of Tap Mun. It is under the administration of Tai Po District.

Henri Maïdou (b. 1936) was Prime Minister of the Central African Empire/Central African Republic from 14 July 1978 to 26 September 1979.

who cares

I liked the entry about Freemasons. It's really heavily censored though, some real conspiracy type shit.
an accurate representation of the Freemasons' goal and practises.

i don't think the title of this thread required such profanity.

Yeah really don't drop the F-bomb. Wikipedia may be boring to you but it is a wealth of information for alot of people.

well don't get me wrong, i love it too. it's just that the random article button is worthless, because everyone makes an entry about every unimportant little thing, like their bathrooms or high school guidance counselors. shit, i probably have an entry about me in there somewhere.

the 10% of it that is interesting, however, is totally worth it. wikipedia rules, just there's a lot of boring stuff.
