is that I like them too much. I can not resist french fries, hashbrowns or baked potatoes. I'm going to turn into a giant Carbohydrate. I can't stop eating them. I've probably had a potato item almost once a day for the last week or so. and my belly is starting to bluge just ever so slightly. Damn you Potatoes! why do you have to be so good fried, or slathered in butter and sour cream? Why?
discuss.

i'm fed up with potatoes. they're served basically everyday in school, sometimes even to soup. potato-fever.

You know what cured me of hashbrowns? Sitting with my ma once. In a diner. She ordered breakfast. Eggs. Toast. Hashbrowns. Except her hashed up hashbrowns were all interconnected by a long, ratty looking thick black hair. She picked up a tiny bit of the hashbrown and all of the rest of the hashbrowns came up with it. Bon appétit, ma.

i love, love, love potatoes. especially of the mashed species. fuck, when i was a kid i could put away a large tub of kfc mashed taters in about ten minutes. no gravy of course.
but now i'm so guilt-driven by my eating habits that i refuse to eat any empty calories that don't have any nutrients in them. unless you're eating the skin, and of course you're not, you're not getting anything from potatoes except starch.
which is why god invented carb blockers

I really love the word "potatoes". In Portuguese (batatas) is just not as fun as it is in English!:D

potatoes are awesome because they are versatile. think of all the things you can do with them. the list is endless.
i get weak in the knees when i'm about to bite into a very crispy mcdonald's hashbrown. divine, even though it is chemically engineered to taste like potato crack.

I've written a poem...
The humble tater is a marvellous thing.
Big fat chips and gravy,
Mash potato castles (using a fork),
Roasted to a delightful crisp,
In a pasty with meat
Nowt like a tater.

I love how fast food chains try to out-do themselves by marketing the most caloric, fat-ridden product they can come up with.
Never been a huge fan of the potato. If it's fried, like chips or small french fries (no big fries where there's actual potato inside), where I can't actually taste the potato, I'm fine. But I don't like baked, mashed or hashed. They taste like dirt to me.
