Basement Bars

We dont have them out here. Heck, hard to find basements. I remember my uncle had a sweet one in New Jersey. My roommate in college had a good one too in Tennessee.

But not here. Seems like bars have to be part of the dining room or "rec room" on the first floor.

Why is that? What happened where basements became uncool on the west coast?

Now what would be real cool is having a bomb shelter bar. Kind of like Yaabo's room in Gleaming the Cube, but instead of being a room, a bar. Yeah.
