i don't know. i don't know any better, so.. who knows? i could meet someone 10 billion times better than my current love. i often meet or speak to men who seem so much more my type and always seem, at that moment, to possess just the qualities that ranald doesn't possess and that makes me think; hmmm? what if?
but maybe true love is accepting your partner for not being perfect and for loving their faults, too; right?
i think i need a lot more life experience to answer this question!

Yes, the "reciprocated" part is the hard one...there is someone I fell in love with who was not in love with me, and never will be. But I will always be in love with him most likely. I don't know if that counts though

Even truly great loves bring challenging moments, but I suppose those things help you to grow.

at this point I guess I'd say two. my first love in highschool and my current love. but inbetween that were some pretty amazing romances that, had I not met my current love, I might have confused with "great" love. I suppose it al depends on how ou define love. when I was younger I defined it differently than I do now.

In high school, I was in love with a guy too. People said he loved me back too, but who knows? We never dated, so I chalk it up to me just having a serious crush for a year when he was my absolute best friend. This was before he ditched me for the rest of his life.

Why do men do that? It's always dumping me cold turkey and never hearing from them again because it's "for our own good." :rolleyes:
