I don't mind quality collaborations...but this feels commercially forced (prepare to hear it in every NYC boutique every hour)

I heard it on a commercial advertising how awesome ABC and all their shows are. I wasn't impressed.
I didn't know it was a collaboration. The commercial first played U2 singing it (sounded like the original) and then soon kicked in to Mary J. Blige, so I figured it was just a cover version.

Cash deserved to cover anyone...
I respect U2's interest in blues and soul (ie: Rattle and Hum), but this sounds generic, it lost the "soul" of the song in my eyes

When I heard it the first time I thought it was a bootleg remix. I ain't very keen on the version tho.
