The Beastie free general discussion aint what it used to be. There's usually only about three or four people on at the same time, I leave for 20 minutes I come back and there haven't been any new posts. For every valuable thread there are heaps of posts about nothing, people are posting the most random shit and think it makes them look eccentric. I can tolerate Paul Jones, because he carved his own niche and paid his dues, but right now absurd threads are making up most of the board and this greatly displeases me.

Ever since I joined here in the winter of the year 2000 people have been complaining and saying the old days were better, but right now entertainment value is at an all time low. Long gone are the days when people insulted other people just because it was fun and hey its the internet. The Genius thread fell off like New York hiphop. Echewta is old and grey and it seems like he just doesn't have it anymore. The good news is that there are still some talented new posters out there but honestly they do not posess the courage, intelect, pizzaz and swagger that my generation brought to the table.

Because I am holding a figurehead position on this message board, I feel like I have a responsibility to bring a change in the status quo.

This is why I started the Lesbian Dating Movement. In the tradition of great revolutionaries and activists like Huey Newton, Che Guevara and Aung San Suu Kyi, I am looking to unite the old and the new generation of posters and use our combined creativity to bring back entertainment value to the beastie free general discussion. I want to create a forum for open debate, an institution where people can come together to discuss the future of this message board. Synergy. But eventually we will also have to take real action. I'm talking about aliases, noob-bashings, board raids, a new and better genius thread, and more echewta options in polls. I'm talking about bringing Dusty Brain back, beastiefern, and even reinstalling profjim or boob_dude as the board's official verbal punching bag.

I try to do my part in the Genius thread and the gif thread because I know there's some people who only have time to look at things rather than post. I try to make it somewhat interesting.

Now, as for the creator of that thread, he's been kinda slow at adding his contributions. He in fact posts the best stuff in there but there's a lack of it.
