It may be old news but I just now found this. Man, this would be a great place for a party or concert but of course people always take things for granted and end up fucking things up.

Critical media coverage of a rave party that saw 1,500 local and expat revelers gather at the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall this summer has prompted local authorities to prohibit any future events.
