by the way, these are awesome guys. (y)I want to see it, yes! And that is so cool that you can create like that. I sewed a teddy sort of doll for my kid when he was tiny and it wound up being lopsided and hideous and it oozed its stuffing. :o

I love this thread. I printed some of these robots and made them into stand-ups for my desk. I especially like the one with fusilli hair. :)

I actually didnt like this movie that much, kinda drags a bit. The ending was good though (y)




....my reaction is pretty much exactly the opposite. I thought the ending -- specifically, the LAST ending sequence -- was treacly, creepy, forced, and awful. Really horrible -- made me hate the whole movie the first time I saw it. But it was pretty haunting, so I went back and saw it again and loved it, warts and all, up until that final mommy-sequence.

The actors playing the parents are really, really bad (except the parting scene in the woods), and the Flesh Fair doesn't entirely work; otherwise, I think it's probably in the top three or four of Spielberg's movies, and the only one I've seen which is truly adult.
