I love those photos. How sweet!

It's interesting how different countries handle graduation and celebrations like it. You guys wear little hats with a little gold ring on the front and some of the hats have names embroidered on them as well. People in the crowds make and decorate signs and hold them up on little poles. That is just so cool--I've never seen anyone do that here.

I wonder what graduation/celebrations customs we have here in the U.S. that maybe strike other people as being odd or unusual.

Yeah here in Stockholm they drive those floats (http://www.myra.nu/student.html) around the fountain in Sergels Torg.

One summer we (at work) tried to collect all the tulips to change them to summer flowers (you can only see one of the smallest flowerbeds in this pic) when the floats arrived. Of course it was impossible to continue, it went on for hours! And the noice they made!!! And the kids are usually drunk and dancing to load music (sometimes they have soundsystems on the floats) and yes, there has been occations when they've tilted over...
