He you can talk about the playoffs in the NHL (National Hockey League).
Personnaly i'm rooting for the Edmonton Oilers even tho im across the country.

double or nothing i guess.

I my self am rooting for Edmonton, i've loved them for always. They're taking a trip to Terrytown (?) it's inbetween carolina and buffalo, so they can get away from all the hometown media, and be able to focus and practice alittle less uninterrupted. Also so they can get used to the time.

Yeah lol i wonder who will win out of Carolina and Buffalo?

jackrock

I'm feeling that Buffalo will be a bigger challenge for Edmonton (that's just my opinion?) So i'm rooting for Carolina in that series.

Yeah I like Carolina too, seems their team works better together.

the sabres are missing some key defencemen...not sure if they're much of a challenge for anyone these days :(

I had a dream Friday night that edmonton won 3-1 (which is the current score). You must all pay me bountiful amounts of money when it happens in an hour.

edit: that's the biggest piece of flaming bullshit i have ever seen. Carolina did not deserve to win that game. If Roloson is hurt bad enough to miss one more minute of play im gonna be pissed off, even more.

sorry people, it's my fault that they tied up in the last period. after the second, i said there was no way they could lose....i jinxed the game, and my friend wanted to knock me out.

but there's no way it's my fault for the tie-breaker, that's all Conklin's (should've listened to what my friend hypothesised on what the coach said: 'don't leave your net'.)

jackrock

So, i guess Roloson's out for the series. I nearly broke my toe kicking the wall when i heard.

I don't remember who the Oilers are up against. NC? Whatever. I'm rooting for the not-Oilers just to spite Droppin'. That's right, I said Edmonton sucks.

Roloson got hit pretty hard (mostly oilers fault) he's out with a knee injury. As for Conklin, im not sure what your talking about.

the only announcer who comes close is the guy for columbus because of the way he says Rick Nash

I saw on ESPN that the NHL playoffs were beaten by women's collegiate softball in the ratings. Maybe they should have stayed out on strike.

i didn't get to catch tonights game but that's exactly what they needed.

and i'm here to support the oilers, it took me a few nights to find this thread

jackrock

Tonights game was a nail biter and a half for lots of it...

Oilers took the lead 2 minutes into the game (w00t!)
second period no scoring, but! it should have been 2-0 going into the 3rd... The puck was in plain sight, Cam Ward (goalie) was spread out like a butterfly in his crease, there's about 2 oilers and 1 or 2 canes in the area, everbody but ethan moareau (sp?) is in a tumble, the puck is in the open inbetween the goalies legs, ref blows the whistle cause he thinks the goalie covered it,.. but no! and edmonton popped it in the net, only to be waved off and not counted  hope that made sense.

third period canes tie it within i think the forst 10. With about 2 minutes left Ryan Smyth finally pops one in the net to get the game winner. the entire 2nd half of the third was pretty intense.

that's my horrible summary.

i really don't like Bob Cole or Harry Neale.

and not only because of the Hughson thing.
but mostly.

Oilers are not going to win.
good try, tho

The Andy Griffith Show Season 28th Episode 7

Interior Day
Mayberry North Carolina Jailhouse

-Barney Fife-
Hey, Ange, I got 4 tickets to go see them there skaters play for some giant silver cup. What do you say we get Thelma Lou and Helen and take a trip to the big city of Raliegh?

-Andy Griffith-
Barn, we have to arrest Earnest T Bass for breaking Floyd's barbershop window. And who is going to watch Otis tonight?

-Barney Fife-
Hey, Otis! Can ya let yourself out tonight?

-Otis Campbell-
Ahhhhh Barney! I need someone to sing me a lullaby.

-Andy Griffith-
It is 110 degrees today and the squad car's air conditioning is broken. I don't really want to watch a bunch of guys chase a ball around the ice.

-Barney Fife-
I don't think it is a ball Andy. It is a black disc.

-Andy Griffith-
I hope they win that big tin cup it is awful pretty.

Fade to Black

No wonder the NHL ratings suck.
