Okay - so I was home last weekend for memorial day and I got to talking with a friend of mine. This girl who's been friends with me and my good friends for a long time broke up with her boyfriend of a year or two about 4 months ago.

She's been kind of frustrated with the dating scene considering she's moving to Utah in September and doesn't really want anything too serious. I haven't had any luck with the ladies where I live lately, so the both of us are single this summer.

We got to talking alone for a few (which we've rarely done) and I was getting some signals the last time I was home. Some of her friends actually mentioned that she might like me (in confidence). I asked her if she wanted a "casual thing" this summer and she said yeah. This sounds like kids stuff, but I'm 21 and she's 19 (almost 20).

Am I on the road to heartache?

not usually for the female in the relationship.

I'm married so I live for this kind of question.

I say bang her like an animal all this summer. I hear that the road to heartache isn't so bad. It is filled with women healing from being banged all summer. You can pick-up one of them.

not usually for the female in the relationship.

In my not-so extensive experience, this is also true.

not usually for the female in the relationship.

i disagree that is has to be the female, but i think for one member of the relationship it will not end/be the way they want it to be.

one person is always more emotionally involved than the other.

but yes, they can work out :)

Just to clarify - I'm a man of principles, so I won't actually have sex with her. Just someone to enjoy company, maybe makeout. She's really a funny girl with good taste in music/movies.
