This is what Adrock said in an interview with Teen People :rolleyes: :

I went to this thing called City-As-School, where you worked jobs for school credit, kind of like internships. I worked at a restaurant, and I worked at a recording studio. I learned how to get doughnuts and make coffee and (clean) things real good - for credit!

I could be wrong, but I suppose he did this while he was in school - supplementing it, not entirely replacing it (or perhaps you could replace certain classes with the credits... someone who's more familiar with this program should clarify this). In the same interview, Adrock said he graduated from another high school, after leaving another one from a horrible audition for the school's production of Oliver!.
