I don't remember seeing it on here anywhere, but just so we all know, this comes from IGN, right here: http://dvd.ign.com/articles/710/710813p1.html

June 1, 2006 - On July 25, 2006, THINKFilm will release the Beastie Boys concert video, Awesome; I… Shot That, on DVD. The DVD will take an in-depth look at the Beasties in their concert as Madison Square Garden, shot through the cameras of 50 lucky fans in the sold-out arena, and will feature a host of bonus materials and extra features. It will be available for the MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) of $29.99

The Awesome; I… Shot That DVD will feature the following bonus materials:

-A Cappella Vocal Tracks
-Full-length Alternate Angle of 6 HD Multi-Cam Grids
-Special "Hidden Detours" Feature
-Band Commentary
-Short Film "A Day in the Life Of Nathanial Hörnblowér," starring comedian David Cross
-Trailer
-World Tour Intros and Shout Outs

Check out the artwork for the Awesome; I… Shot That DVD below:

Sweet, no mention of the sound set up though but I'm willing to bet it'll be 5.1. Also, I think the alternate angle thing means we get to see the concert with the pro cameras too, which is nice to have that option I guess. I didn't expect them to have all ~40 cameras as alternate angles, that'd take up heaps of space, and would be pretty cumbersome to navigate between. Shame that it doesn't look like there's going to be a CD companion though :(

Can't wait :D

$29.99? For a DVD? I thought DVD's came down in price now that they are so popular? $30 for a concert DVD (that probably all of us saw already) is pricey.. I might have to steal it.

..and for the record, Newbury Comics in Boston has the 2DVD thing for $10.

This is the Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price. Alot of places will have it for much cheaper.

Band commentary
A cappella vocal tracks - listen to the complete concert with the sound from MCA, Adrock and Mike D's mics only
Special "Hidden Detours" feature - watch the film with the option of taking detours throughout the concert with some of the camera operators
Oh yeah, and the movie trailer with the cool Hollywood voiceover

it'll be quite cool i recks. i think yauch will offer insights on a lot of moments, like 'this was done ...' this was and so on...

adrock's bound to go 'i like this shot' a few times too.

in general i hope they are thier amusing selves throughout, i don't think they can just talk about the movie the whole time...so yeah, def interested and looking forward to the commentry.

what would have been cool if there was like a special feature of them warming up for that concert and talking about where the professional cameras were gonna go and them doing a few songs that didnt make it onto the live show. ;) (rehersals)
