I don't remember seeing it on here anywhere, but just so we all know, this comes from IGN, right here: http://dvd.ign.com/articles/710/710813p1.html
June 1, 2006 - On July 25, 2006, THINKFilm will release the Beastie Boys concert video, Awesome; I… Shot That, on DVD. The DVD will take an in-depth look at the Beasties in their concert as Madison Square Garden, shot through the cameras of 50 lucky fans in the sold-out arena, and will feature a host of bonus materials and extra features. It will be available for the MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) of $29.99
The Awesome; I… Shot That DVD will feature the following bonus materials:
-A Cappella Vocal Tracks
-Full-length Alternate Angle of 6 HD Multi-Cam Grids
-Special "Hidden Detours" Feature
-Band Commentary
-Short Film "A Day in the Life Of Nathanial Hörnblowér," starring comedian David Cross
-Trailer
-World Tour Intros and Shout Outs
Check out the artwork for the Awesome; I… Shot That DVD below:
Sweet, no mention of the sound set up though but I'm willing to bet it'll be 5.1. Also, I think the alternate angle thing means we get to see the concert with the pro cameras too, which is nice to have that option I guess. I didn't expect them to have all ~40 cameras as alternate angles, that'd take up heaps of space, and would be pretty cumbersome to navigate between. Shame that it doesn't look like there's going to be a CD companion though :(
Can't wait :D
