so i was driving thru east L.A and me and my mom and dad stopped by this taco truck we always go to when we're in east.los angeles and driving by reminded me so much of when i was little like 5,6,7 (u know those ages)

like the docters office the neighborhood would go to. the docter was so nice he did magic tricks and stuff even my brother who is now 19 remembers that doc. i asked my mom "wut happened to him" "suicide" she replied i was so shocked!!

anyways we passed thru the old apartment building in the projects and my dad would tell me memories about that place and the pharmacy and pizza place and park and damn just so many memories!!!:D

by the way the place is Lorena St and Whittier Blvd and the old apartment is on Hunter St

turns out that taco truck has been there for over 20 years!!!
its right in front of Lorena Pharmacy (which also has a ton of memories)

so how bout u guys do u guys remember a particular place in your childhood that stands out:confused: :D

One of the worst childhood memories that always gives me occasional flashbacks is this one time when I was either 7 or 8 and I was swimming in the Sadusky River.

I swam till I reached about 3/4 of a mile from the shore and then I got picked up by some strong current.

I remember that I got sucked in and that the water was only about 9 feet deep but I was struggeling to get to the shore. I was like running under water for 2 minutes till I finally reached the surface to breath.

it's very strange about that river because my brother.

Two years after my event, he was riding his bike and came close to the dock and his breaks went faulty and ended up riding his bike straight into the river.

Luckily, my uncle and I were fishing on that dock and when he went into the water, my uncle fished him out with one of those fisherman's netting hooks.

grandma's back yard. it was like a big jungle to the four year old i was. me and my [one year younger] brother once played hide-and-seek in there, and he got lost, lol.

Picking rapsberries in my grandma's back yard.

A biig swimming pool area when i was 3-5. Outside it had a big pirate ship with cannons that would blast water. Good times.

I remember sitting in my backyard age 4 or 5 and having my mom cut my hair it was down to my butt and she chopped it to me ears, as the long strands of hair fell to the ground and drifted in the breeze, I cryed. I have never let my hair grow very long since then.
