So...How many BBMBers have been to a nude beach (ocean, lake whatever)? Did you enjoy it? did you get nekid? were you comfortable being nekid?
I first went to a nude beach a few years ago. there was one really close to where I was living. at the time I was a bit heavier and kinda had some issues about my bod. but I decided to go and force myself to deal with it. and I found most the peeps there didn't have perfect bodies, so it really helped me feel better. after a while I became pretty comfortable waqlking around the beach and talking to people while in the nude. it's was very freeing.
This weekend we went and did my favorite hike in Marin. there is a lake on the hike that every one swims in. it's clothing optional. I had brought my suit but me and my friends were like fuck it lets skinny dip! (1/2 the people there were nekid anyway) oh man it was the best!
Yay Nude! ok your turn... tell me sumthin about being nekid in public places.

I have and most people who go to places like that regularly aren't too concerned with it. I wasn't a regular, so I was concerned.
My first time at a nude spa, I imagined that it was going to be like a Baywatch Fest and I was fairly self-conscious but it wound up being more like bingo at an old age home so I was fine.
I've only gone topless. Laying on a beach with sand and no bottoms isn't really my thing.

Well I will say the ediqutte for talking to someone while nude is to keep alot of eye contact.
For me at least the sexual issues only came up to begin with. after a while though, you kinda start to forget you don't have clothes on. perhaps though I am already sort predispositoned to be able to view the body in a non sexual way. I grew up in a doctor's household so I was very much taught to view the body in a more clinical way, rather than a purely private and sexual thing.

7 years ago,when i arrived in bc,we heard about a beach party that last like for a while.Arriving there,a lots of people where naked and stuff.Well,i kinda try to do it a bit,i have to admit that swimming naked on a lake is pretty awesome.
BUt anyhow ,it did not last long,because there where perverts perched everyhwere along the beach,you can call them voyeur:eek:
So it really did'nt last long at all!I quickly feel a bit uneasy and cover myself a bit more.
It was an hippy kinda thing,people where playing music with nuts swinging freely in the air,distributing rock(dont ask me why,could be the drug) with tits in the air,,,,a surreal experience somehow and not one i even want to be part off again.
I like the nudist part when alone with my bf !:D

I haven't been on an official nude beach, but in the middle of the night I got naked and swam in the pacific ocean for a bit. It was amazing.
I plan to go to nude beaches once abroad. We have one here in San Diego, but then a few years ago I think some sort of law past banning nudity, but then I hear that it's still a nude beach so I'm just confused and I don't want to be fined for being naked, so I skip it.

On a yachting holiday around Greek and Turkish islands we docked along the shore of Godknowswhere, my friend and I swam from the yacht to the beach. We were sitting there quite happily until we looked around and noticed a lot of crinkly arses. Yeah, it was a nudist beach with old people and so we swam away unhappily and BLIND.
That said, I don't have a problem with that sort of thing. As an unsuspecting holidaymaker at fourteen-years-old, I did.

I ran down the street nekkid in 10th grade. Sure it was only 4 houses down. And sure it was 1:00 am. But I still did it.
We almost went to a nude beach during our honeymoon. But the taxi drivers there were like...go if you want, but its not worth the mile hike to see old fat nekkid people. So we didn't go.

I've been skinny dipping, naked hot tub with two girls, and taken showers nude under a small waterfall we had on one of the lakes, but never been to an actual "nude beach."
To the regular "nudies" at nude beaches, resorts, etc... it's not a sexual thing, so I don't think they get the "boners" that you are referring to as often as a voyeur would...
It's hard going to a nude beach.
Once I leave, it's soft again.

i want to be an artist's model.I was able to start to understand the back problem I have thanks to being an artist's model. Amazing what the well trained eye can see.
As a college student, we did occassionally visit the clothing optional beach but I always optioned clothing.
I don't think I'd enjoy a nudist beach. I want to keep those as fantasies.

I have been to a nude beach a handful of times. I don't mind it, but I don't neccessarily prefer it either. The thing is, when you go to one, you realise that there are in fact a whole lot of people in the world whom you'd likely really rather not see naked, actually.
I did do the artist's modelling thing once as well. Not in front of a class, just for this one woman mr.peachy used to work with. It was weird going to the exhibition and seeing my nekkid self hanging around on the wall.

I've been to a few nude beaches and quite a few nude campgrounds. What can I say? My parents were hippies. I haven't been to one since puberty, though. I refused to go anymore.
And it's not sexual at all. I just stopped going because I felt weird going when I was developing. Either way, I was afraid to tell people about my secret when I was little, because no one understands what it's about. You get so used to just being around others the same as you, you don't look or care. It's like wearing clothing. No one makes a big deal about it, no one cares. It's just the non-nudists that come and stare, and then it gets uncomfortable.
I love the Christians who look down on nudists. OHMIGOD, THEY'RE AS NAKED AS THE DAY GOD MADE THEM! Gross! :rolleyes:

I have been to a nude beach and I was really traumatized by the seashell collectors. Do they have to bend over every 20 seconds?
The metal detector people usually wear fanny packs to hold rusty quarters so they are fine.

HAHAHA! Whitetail sucks, actually. I think that's the one that's right outside of Busch Gardens. It's just wide-open grass with a random path with thousands of mosquitos. Plus, nothing to do except a pool (where they won't let you swim with ANY clothes on), and a pool table/arcade place.
We've been to Avalon (which also sucks), Pine Tree, some random places in NY, and a really amazing place called Cypress Cove down in Florida. They have a large lake with alligators in it, and a bunch of condos. It was a really beautiful campground.

I did a story on Whitetail when I worked at the Richmond,Va NBC affiliate. I shot it with carefully placed chairs,ornaments,etc in the foreground. Kind of like the beginning of Austin Powers.

I hear Hedonism is the King of all nudist retreats but I'll settle for laying on a regular beach. I have a pretty good imagination.

So, not only did I get to meet a lot of really sexy hippie chicks, but I got to hang around with them naked some. I got naked and hung around a lot myself.
Okay. Attn: Males of the species. Swimming trunks are more functional that you realize. They do more than just keep you from being nude. If you see a 20 foot diving platform... and you get the urge to run and jump off of it all naked and what not... DON'T! Unless you totally know what you're doing.

It wasn't my choice. My parents dragged me there when I was a wee one. And yeah, not a lot of really hot people go to the nudist resorts. I've seen a few, though.

i forgot too the time i was in spain,in the valencia region,with my french dude and we where swimming naked in the medditeraen on that german resort aka wildlife birds center.The beach was immense so nobody really see us!Then we skat in this old cabin (i guess it was for duck hunter or i dunno) and help ourselves with this whiskey bottle,good time!
And i got a freaking bad sunburn on my ass,could not sit for couples of days!

i dont know if there's even any nudist beaches in australia. on schoolies week i lost my boardies while swimming at the beach in surfers paradise. i had to get one of the girls to bring my towel out into the ocean. it was a great experience walking down Cavill avenue with 10's of thousands of ppl around wearing just a wet, clingy towel (y) but that's schoolies for ya
i can name about 3 off the top of my head over here, bro. so yeah, there definately is nudie beaches here in aus.

hmm, are they like actually in perth or more up north in woop woop places like broome? i'm sure there's some dodgy ones further north in queensland that i dont know about. or maybe there's some poon and wang hurts the Great Barrier Reef law or some shit that i dont know about. there's lots of boobies at Surfers Paradise tho :D

I've been to the beach three times since I moved here. And apparently the beaches are a main attraction of sorts.
i'd say for kids, aged 16-23, the beaches are the shit.
i enjoy them a lot.

it practically is. there's a gap of only about 10km's between what's considered to be the very south of brisbane and the very north of the gold coast. there's shit loads of beaches in queensland, but brisbane is just a stupid Port and alot of mangroves. Fraser Island is sweet. there's a 75 km beach there. this prolly isnt right but i've been told it the longest beach in the world
