I came back.......there are so many threads in here so I thought that it'd be cool to start a thread like this....you can show your appreciation for them....could i start?
They are talented men who make awesome music------- right now i am listenimg to in a world gone mad..they give pleasure to my ears.. and besides that they give pleasure to my sight too cus theyre nice men:o :p

listening to the beastie boys has helped me figure out what i want to do with my life before i was confuse and i just didn't know. Now i know i want to do I want to work in music anything music related:cool: . they have also inspired me to go out and make some music myself:D . (i just need to get my hands on the right equiptment!!:D )
they make incredible music and they seem to love what they do (which is probally why their music is great) and they still have time to fool around :p yet also get serious and political. They seem to be making music to make them happy not us. but in the long run it works out for us too.

They're great. Hip-hop legends. One of the greatest and most influential rap groups of all-time. They've certainly inspired me alot. I've been thinking of getting into music because of them.

my favorites since 1994 i think - there will never be another band that i could feel the same about. they have had lasting power with me for so long it feels like comfort food to my ears whenever i listen to them. any kind of mood im in they have something to either get me fired up, chill out, etc..etc...
also another nice thing to say about them is that they are all very hot men. :) hothothot
I Discovered them in 2002 through the telly and i inmediately feel in love with their music.......their music means a lot to me cus it makes me feel so good when i do several things:like travelling , etc....before knowing them I didnt like hip hop or rap that much, but they made me change my ears. I haven't found a good hip hop group like them, they`re very awesome and Unique they changed my taste:D :D :D I love you Beastie Boys

I totally agree. While I may have moved on to other music, and other styles of music, it was never because I stopped liking them. Despite the fact that I don't bump the BBoys all too often, my high opinion of them will NEVER change.

the beastie boys are just AWESOME, i didn't really listen to a lot of hip hop and rock before them, but after getting TT5B i was hooked, and they constantly amaze me, with their music, and their individual style, and they never disappoint, and i am deeply devoted to adam yauch, who also captured my heart since the beginning. the beastie boys will probably always be my all time favorite band, always and forever, even when i'm old and gray and can't remember my own name, i'll still remember all the lyrics to every beastie song, which i'll sing to the other old people who have never heard of them, so their name will be known forever and ever til the end of time. yes, adam horovitz, michael diamond, and adam yauch, i love you and always will, and i am not a stalker, just a big fan who can't get enough, and is waiting for more. you're great- you're amazing- you rock hard. keep goin' you're great at what you do. and i say all of this in the nicest way possible. lots of thanks and gratitude for you!

Thaaaaanks! I don' t want to be pathetic, but it' s difficult to exprime what I feel for these 3 crazy guys without to come so. They have changed my whole life. I' m completely in love with all it' s about they. When i have to do something that makes me afraid, I think to they, I try to find strenght in they. Boys, football, work, university often makes me sad: they have never done it. Then I give a big FUCK to alls the ones that I know and that laugh of me and they! We are the greatest! When I'm down, all I have to do is crank up one of their cd's and I find myself in a joyous state of mind.
Their words have influenced me throughout my life in a most positive way. I was brought up with racist thoughts and the boys music have help to free my mind. Thanks guys.

Ok, time for some heavy well deserved ass kissing. First of all, the Beastie Boys have a very unique style that nobody else will ever be able to pull off. Each of them have an individual and great personality that contributes to the vibe of the band, which is why I love them so much. There is not one song they have made that I just didn't like or end up liking anyway. Also they are versatile and good at what they do. There are not many bands that can rap AND play instruments, they're very talented!
They've been successful for 20 years and getting a lot of new fans everyday, young and old. Jee I wonder why, because they're fucking awesome!!! Not only are they Hip Hop legends, but they are music legends! Since the first time I saw the Ch Check It Out video on MTV, I instantly fell in love with these 3 funky-ass Jews. The music they make has changed my life and I will never forget them, I'll be a fan forever. I listen to their music everyday and it's good for any mood. Especially if I'm nervous or sad and wanna be cheered up. (y)
Before I knew the Beastie Boys, I knew very little about music and barely had interest in it, so I listened to shit. But now that I listened to their music it has inspired me to discover a variety of different genres, and now I love all music! They were the first band I've ever became obsessed with too. Last but not least, they are fuckin sexy as hell. Thanks to them, I have no interest in getting a boyfriend because I want them! And now I'm attracted to men older then me, shit! :eek: I'm afraid there's nobody like them that I'll ever get, so no guy at my highschool even compares to them. Thanks a lot Beastie Boys! :rolleyes: I'm just kidding, it's not their fault. Damn I wrote a whole essay, that was not short and sweet. Sorry. :o

anyway, something nice to say about the Beastie Boys, well one, they stick out from all other artists out there. i mean, their style is one of a kind. you aint gonna see any other rappers out there sportin sasquatch in their videos! no idea to them is too crazy. i mean, how many artists would actually use one of their fans ideas? (like they used that dude's idea on here were he filmed part of their concert on his cell phone). when i watch MTV in the morning, all i see in a rap video is girls, pimps, cars, cribs, etc. it gets annoying seeing the same thing in every video. Beastie Boys have videos that stick with you for days.
second. they are awsome trend setters. i mean, you see other rappers out there sportin Adidas track suits? i dont. or Mike D. with the VW emblem, i wear one sometimes (when my mom doesnt know). over the years, they have set alot of trends, & the trends are frickin sweet too!.
third. they are down to earth. the Beastie Boys are soooo down to earth. alot of rappers look down on their fans. Beastie Boys look eye to eye with their fans. not many artists visit their message board. some people complain of Yauch not going on here alot, but i think he trys to come on as much as possible.
forth. true talent. they write their own songs. every song they have ever writen i have loved. not every person could write songs like they do. they are very intellegent men too. some of the technology they use, i have never even heard of. when you see them talkin in an interview, sometimes they will start talkin bout what they used on certain songs & your just like wtf?:confused:
fifth. their personalitys. i mean, they have such awsome personalitys. they are the type of people you want to hang with because they have such interesting tastes in different stuff. they are very unique individuals.
sixth. their concerts. i got tickets too the pageant tour for my birthday. that was one of the best days of my life. they put on such an amazing show, you cant help but to dance to it! the mood is awsome there. you forget about everything the second they come out on stage. not only do they rock for you, but they rock WITH you.
the Beastie Boys are one of the best things that ever happened to me. i look up to them SOOO much. they are my heroes. i mean, my dad was laid off from work for a few years, & it was a hard time. but whenever i listened to BBoys, it all faded away. i felt like my world was in the hands of them. they really know how to reach throught the headphones & take you to a new place.
i could say so much more about them, but i would probably type on forever.
but i agree with chicka, there fans make them cool too. they have some awsome fans on here. unfortunely, i dont know any hardcore Beastie fans in real life, but i doubt they would be as cool as the peeps on here.(y) :D
