He's working on a new Fantômas (one of countless bands he's in) album, and he had this to say about it recently:

"The next record is going to be an all-electronic affair. It's going to take some creative planning on how to record it and execute it, but there will be no acoustic instruments on it whatsoever. We're pretty much about to go into hibernation mode. I need to, once I have a little time, go back to the drawing board, and start writing the next one."

All-electronic? Splendid. The last album was pretty.....interesting, if you figure that it was cartoon music blended with rock. The whole format was quite unusual.

I dig alot of his stuff and Faith No More is almost one of my favorite bands.

Fantomas is pretty close too.

I'm not too fond of some of the other stuff he does though. Don't get me wrong, Mr. Bungle is good stuff but, there's only a few songs that are worthy of listening.

I got his Mike Patton vs. the Xecutioners and there's only like 8 songs that you can actually jam out on. The rest of it is just made for "enhanced listening" and I'm not always in that frame of mind when I want to listen to music. As a matter of fact, alot of that crazy stuff he does is quite annoying to sober ears.

I really love faith no more! Angel dust is a brilliant album one of my faves at the moment!

The first Mr Bungle album is really good, and i like it! The second one i have to be in teh mood for.

The new patton album looks interesting...
