Fuck you very much.
...so, just to cover my ass, I had Entourage Season two discs one through three as the first discs in my queues, right? So what happens?
Blockbuster jumps all three and sends me selection four and five in my queue, even though Entourage was and still is listed as "Now available."
Netflix jumps selections one and two and sends me disc three of season two, even though discs one and two were and are listed as "now available."
Crap. So I'll be watching the end of the season first, pretending it's a Tarantino movie, I guess.
life can be so harsh sometimes

It's hard. It's just hard.

I definitely don't want to pay for cable.
You could always make backups of those discs and wait for the others to arrive. Of course you'd throw away the backups once you were done.

I don't have the equipment.
My home computer is a fairly crappy old laptop that doesn't even have a CD-ROM.
It was given to me a few years back when it was already worthless to its owner. I use it for word processing, Hearts, and Tetris.
I'm a cheap bastard.

I heard they do that to the people with the cheaper plans. You could just waste $20/month to ensure you get priority.

I'm at three-at-a-time with each of them*, and now that I know about throttling, I'm pretty good about keeping some things longer than others (so I wind up with TV discs in rotation, since I don't get through one disc in an evening).
No, this is screwier: not delaying a shipment, but just jumping the queue and still shipping something, but not the available first choice(s). It's fucked up.
*Blockbuster also has a site in the immediate area.

Well, the Blockbuster on my way to BART is holding discs one and two for me.
*whew*
I wound up watching season one out of order when I first got hooked on this show, so this time, I wanted to do it right.
Yeah, my life's a little sad.
So I was at the local blockbuster the other day looking for a movie to cheer my lady up after we put her doggy to sleep. And at the end of the new releases section I saw something that I couldn't believe. "The Wickeds". Blockbuster surely has some shitty movies, but a movie as shitty as this made me laugh and cry at the same time.
Anyway, I recommend you put that in your queue A-Z. Only because I am in it. With a ferocious zombie growl.
carry on.
"VICTORY!!!"

You're kidding. What do I look out for?
In the chapter called "Zombie Attack!" after this one guy says "Hurry up....they're coming!!!" (which he must have practiced 100 times and it still came out shitty as all hell...like the whole movie). There is a close up of me all zombied out with a shaky camera shot growling.
Honestly...its not even worth the basically free mail order rental. I only brought it up for attention.

I never let multiple disc sets be at the top of my queue for that reason. I keep the multiple discs at the bottom and move only one disc at a time to the top. I recently messed up and put a two-disc movie at the top of my queue and got the wrong disc first though.
Also, I rarely rent things that are super popular.
I had the big cable package for the past two months but I'm cancelling it tonight. I watched season two of Entourage on demand. I don't think you'll have a problem watching them out of order, but then I also think the show is very overhyped. I could never have watched it a week at a time because it's so insubstantial, yet I did watch it when I could see four episodes an hour. There were times when I thought it was pretty funny. I like Matt Dillon's brother a lot.

Blockbuster isn't exactly great for having what you need when you need it the most. Kind of like the jars/pot in Legend of Zelda.
