This forum is the only occasion i have for speak with people who have my passion. In Italy (or maybe I have to say in my town) is difficult find them! A fews peoples know Beasties, or love they so much as you. AND IN MY FAMILY IT' S A DISASTER! They laugh of me and of Beasties 's music. Daddy call they "3 communist drug addicts" (don' t ask me why!), alls alwais make fuss when I' m listening to their music...sooo boring..

Its common for other friends and family to have a blind, disoriented, perspective on the Beastie Boys.

What i advise is that you invite them over to a party, or show up at a family event and pop in a Beastie Boys track in your trustie Boom Box, Ghetto Blaster, Ipod, or tape deck and BLAST your favorite song.

It won't be effective if you don't BUST OUT your B-BOY STANCE!! :cool:

Feel free to ask anyone here for suggested tracks to BLAST!!

Personally, I succeeded in converting some buddies… At the beginning they were a little reticents, but now, after months and years of propaganda, they ask me to copy them CDs:D ...concerning your parents, it will be harder...

One of my friends hated ill communication, except sabotage. (which i really dont play much, im more of a side b IC fan) anyways he heard eugents lamont and he fucking loved it.

It took me weeks to explain to him that the beasties play their own instuments.
