I love smoking weed, and so does she. But we reached a point where at 25 and 24 respectively, we couldn't justify having a session every afternoon.

We spent a lot of our relationship getting stoned together, though. We had both been fairly heavy smokers prior to hooking up, and when we were in the U.K it was something to do when it was raining. Living in Lambeth helped, too.

So we stopped in January 2005. Don't really miss it, because neither of us can help viewing it as a comparably juvenile part of our lives. I may smoke on weekends once I have my degree.

my boyfriend smokes, and has pretty much straight through our nearly 5-year relationship. it's not a problem.

plus, because he now lives with his parents up north i only get to see him every two/three weeks or so, and it's only here, in glasgow, that he can get his weed and, uh, smoke it.

he doesn't really change character when he smokes and become a total waster. when he was a bit younger he used to get high and drive a car and go to work, which is totally horrendouse to me because i find it so disabling.

he doesn't smoke joints, either. he smokes buckets. i don't know what other people call them. you know, when you fill a bottle up with water, put the weed [plus some tobacco in his case] in a top, release water and it sucks all the smoke into the bottle.

this sorta does him for a coupla hours, ha!

the only thing i dislike about it is the munchies and constant eating/greedy-ness when particularly stoned.

bucket bongs are the worst way to smoke pot. it's pretty efficient but really anti-social. there's nothing to pass round, everyone just takes a hit and then sits there totally mashed for a couple of hours.

best buckets we ever did was in the pool (y) same theory but instead of a bucket of water you use the pool water. but yeah buckets suck and i havn't done that in at least 5 years, probably more. gravities are pretty much the same, i think buckets are probably a bit better cause all the smoke is forced out by the water, whereas gravities you need to suck it all through to clear the bottle.

Another one we used to do was similar to them, you'd get a big bottle, chop the bottom off, then get a plastic bag and seal it over the chopped end with a rubber band or something. Then you'd kinda stuff the bag into the empty bottle, wack a cone piece in the lid and pull the bag out of the bottle which sucks the smoke in, then you just get the bottle and breath it in like a gravity. Could probably explain it better, but meh. pipes and bongs are all i smoke now & the occasional spliff

I don't know if you're referring to this, but we used to get like a 500ml or 700ml mineral water bottle. You pierce a tiny little hole in the side of the bottle, right at the base. Fill it up with water (holding your finger over the hole), screw on the cone-piece, light it and uncover the hole. The water draining out pulls in the smoke, and it's much less anti-social than buckets, cause at least you can do them standing around in the laundry of your pad, talking to people while Company Flow is on the sound system.

My boy smokes consistently, pretty much every day, but he's never debilitatingly high, that I've seen. I've done it with him before, and I like it, but his bong scares me because it made me cough really bad last time because I took way too big of a hit. It doesn't really bother me particularly...sometimes I wonder if it makes him lazier than he would be without it, but it probably also makes him more laid back which is what I really like about him. after my semi formal we went back to a mates house to smoke weed and we were having buckets. it was only the 2nd time i'd ever smoked weed so it absolutely destroyed me, and i've never had buckets again. it was also my friend's first time and he was so baked that when we down to the park he climbed up a tree about 5 metres high and wouldn't come down until someone went and got him a man umbrella coz he thought it was rainning men. That's prolly another reason i've never smoked buckets.

I moved out of home 3 years ago for about 2 months with 2 really hot chicks, except i made the mistake of having friends over every night to smoke in the garage. i had the fucking time of my life at that house tho. my average day was work from 5pm to midnight, my mate alex came over with shitloads of subway and we'd have a sesh, listen to some Tool, always Tool, always Lateralus, watch a random movie or 2, wait til 6am when macca's opened and went and got a sweet breakfast, came home fell asleep at 8am, slept in til 4. I had a great time, even though that's not what i wanted my life to be, lol. I recommend everyone tries this lifestyle for 2 months of their life.
