I just turned on the TV to find this.

What... you didn't know we were programmed to correspond in patterns like this?

Just saw this movie tonight. It's a really fascinating look at something that I truly thought was only in prototype form (before I was aware of this movie, I only thought a handful existed and it was iffy on whether it was viable). I really didn't know that it was being used in California to some success before oil companies, the government, etc. etc. killed it off before it could be used on a wider scale.

And it's upsetting how the car companies had everyone turn in their cars to get demolished when they stopped producing them. They didn't want any reminders of alternative forms of energy.

And the hydrogen cell fuels are crap, as this movie shows.

At least the hybrid cars are a step in the right direction.

I hope stuff like this can renew interest and there can be pressure (through laws and consumer demand) for the electric car to be revived.

So yeah, definitely go see it.

I've been looking forward to the movie. I heard the director interviewed on the radio and it was awfully interesting.

I also want to see the movie about movie ratings -- I think it's called "this movie is not yet rated."

The only unfortunate aspect about this movie was interviews with some celebrities who drove and enjoyed their electric cars back in the day.

Among them was... *gulp* Mel Gibson. :(

He was talking about how awesome it was to drive around really fast in his electric car and how he felt like Batman.

Obviously this was done well before his DUI arrest, but I had a feeling of "oh no" just watching his segments. He even looked maniacal with his beard and such.
