Apparently my job is a Monogamy

someone called and said that our service sucks and they would go elsewhere but we run a monogamy, to which I said "well, the term is MONOPOLY...and there is plenty of companies that will fix your water heater other than us".


Then he said he cant be there this afternoon because they want to go to an open house and I said "hide a key for a tech, they're bonded" and he said "how the hells he supposed to get in?"

when i was in school, i needed to write up a lease, so i thought i would model it from the one at the apartment complex i used to live at (this is years ago, btw). granted, you could buy a packet of form leases from office depot, but i wanted a better one. so i went there and asked the girl, and started to explain that i could go buy some from office depot, but she finished the sentence for me by saying "yeah, but those are so genetic." i thought she just messed it up but later, she said it again.

renting apartments is definitely not rocket science.
