I know, it would be a miracle if there was at least one other post in here. But I really need some comfort right now, 'cause I guess I'm Germany's one and only football-hater. You can't go anywhere without being bothered with fucking-football. The bars are packed with stupid footballfans and big screens to watch the world cup everywhere. No chance to drink some nice and "quiet" beers in the evening without having to watch football. Even in the supermarkets there are stupid fans (and the german fans are the worst of all) who blow stupid horns right into your ear. The only positive thing about this worldcup is........ no wait, this is a hate-thread: there is nothing positive about it!!!!! :mad:

I don't really like watching any sports. I like playing them, don't get me wrong - but watching people play...just doesn't interest me. It's not really a convenient thing either - like you said, people everywhere watch football, baseball, whatever.

Florida some years ago (well more like ages ago really).
But I like driving a car myself better. You know all those
suckers on the road driving at 120 km/h an blocking the
whole road, when you are allowed to go as fast as you like

the best team in liverpool is the toxteth tigers - but its still football!:mad:

tranmere is of course on the other side of the river mersey so is a wooleyback team, not a liverpool team. as for everton - who are they?:eek:

I detest football. Incredibly dull game. 90 minutes with no guarantee that anything will happen. Dull dull dull. You could watch a FILM in that time, and know you are guaranteed that plenty of stuff will happen.

I enjoy watching soccer, but the fanbase is embarrassing. The overly-enthusiastic fans need to take a chill pill and drink a nice large glass of STFU. And don't get me started on the elitist fans.

Generally, I just enjoy watching the World Cup, and the Euro tournament, if I get around to it when it starts. Though, I have to agree with the sentiment that it's boring to watch 90+ minutes of fumbling back and forth, with an occasional climax here and there. On the other hand, I can say that about any sport, really.

In conclusion, all sports suck to watch.

PS: Except EC F'IN W. :)

Not so with the Lakeside darts championship, where every dart counts, and games to turn around at any given point.

No, honestly, football sucks!!!! I can't understand people saying
"I don't like football, but I have to watch the worldcup", either.

They're all very silly true.

My silliness is carrying big bags across mountain ranges and sometimes climbing up ice using spiky boots and pick axes in -20 degrees - not very sensible if you ask me.
