My boss never came back from lunch

I work a later shift than most people here. I came in early afternoon, I need some images and text from this guy (he's in charge of coordinating) and he says "Sure thing! I'll get that for you when I get back from lunch." I'm just surfing the net while he's gone.



3 hours and 15 minutes later.

My office is situated next to one of the main exits/entrances and I am amazed at how this one group will come in at maybe 9:30 or 10. They'll read their mail, presumably. Then they'll leave and walk five blocks to: get coffee, come back for about an hour, go to lunch, come back for about an hour, go for afternoon coffee or sometimes ice cream, come back for about an hour and then leave.

we got in new test tube racks so I spent about an hour giving them names such as "COAT" "NICE" "SKI" "GUN" "BIG" "SMALL"
GET IT COAT...RACK
Ive also been using less comedic ones like "C-3PO" and "BOB"

made a multicolored paperclip necklace, one of the secretaries liked it so I made her one too

eaten two hamburgers

drank 1.5 litres of water

designed and put up a "No Smoking Around Compressed Gas Storage Area" sign

-Checked BBMB about a dozen times
-Waited for boss
-Called roomate
-Called parents
-Wrote down list of tracks to find on internet
-Spaced out to Bhagavan Das some more
-Finally got impatient and decided to do something about it

I had to borrow someone else's jumpdrive since it's been 2 weeks and they can't get one for the student office. Had to use the jumpdrive instead of a CD burner because my computer's disc drive doesn't work. Mac didn't hook up to network and guy who's job it is to get me these pictures is in Vegas for the week. Writer who writes the page I'm making panics about FedEx thing, says she hasn't written it, and leaves.

Now I'm making thumbnails from unpractically huge tif files.
