well I went to a link in the thread you posted and no one was there too, only reason I didnt stya is because I had to siwcth computers at work, thus this one will not connect me to any server on Mirc, while the other one did...sucks thought I was fianlly goin to Mirc it up with y'all :(

IRCing...

1. Get an IRC client:

www.mIRC.com

or pirch, or trillian, or one of the web(site) based IRC clients for those at work.

2. Connect to the server (irc.xelium.net port 6669)

In mIRC, close the gay pop-ups (AKA fisher-price mode, which can be told to GO TO HELL!) and type "/server irc.xelium.net:6669" without the quotation marks.

It will then connect you to the server.

3. You type "/j #beastieboys" to join the channel, where all the cool kids are.

"/nick <username>" lets you pick a username unsurprisingly.

This should work, and there should be people in there. Especially nowish.
