Penny Boycott

I read in the Wall Street Journal that it costs 1.4 cents to manufacture the penny. I say that the penny should be taken out of circulation. I have jars of them around my house. They are on the floor and inside the cushions of my car. The people that use them to make exact change hold up lines and progress of this fast paced society. The only good reason to keep them around is that I like to say....Penny for your thoughts?

Man o man I am taking some hits. It just seemed strange to me that the penny costs more to produce than it is worth. You people seem to love the penny. I used to say that my mother was so frugal she could pinch the bronze off a penny.

pennies are good for flicking them at people and I can expertly place my aim. You don't want to get hit by them either because they buzz like a bee and they'll put a welt on you.

But then again, I can do the same with bottlecaps and I never carry pennies on me.
