man. I've never had a fight with my best friend until last night when she was hammered beyond belief.
People say some mean things when drunk. Especially after you are trying to keep them safe/look out for them and instead they think you are being an asshole. :(

Now you must act all hurt about it, cause he/she will not remember anything. Then ask for gifts... ;-)

I've got a friend who's the same way but, everytime he gets drunk he gets that way. He's severly got a problem and I've tried to help but it just came to the point that when he gets drunk, I don't hang around with him anymore.
Oh, man, that sucks.
I had a good friend of mine who used to drink too much and then'd just go completely nuts and tell us all to "go fuck yourselves!" and blah blah we're bad friends blah blah.
Happened last New Years, all my other friends are used to it - but I took it kinda personal. We had to catch him in the backyard and pin him down because he was trying to fight people.

I probably already told a story about being involved in a street fight because of my ornery drunk friend. it required me to punch a stranger in the back of the head because he was slamming her "boyfriend's" (guy she met that night) head into the pavement and I didn't want to be a murder witness. when the cops came, we had to book it and I practically carried her ass away screaming, "my boyfriend my boyfriend!" and I said, "you don't even know him!" and she said, "I hate you! you ruin everything!" and then we went back to my car and it was gone, it had been towed. and she told me I was stupid. ha ha. we had to go to the police station and then to a shady ass tow lot. I made her pay for it though.
gah, worst night ever. I don't really hang out with her anymore...well, she still lives in michigan. we used to get into physical punching fights when we were drunk. and then she'd claim she kicked my ass later...because she'd cold cock me in the side of the head and then run. ah detroit days.

yeah see with this first time I've seen her like this, in the 8 years that I've known her. And we hang out with eachother to drink once a week.
Kind of scary. I am unsure whether she is stressed and needs someone to talk to (hence the crazy person that came out of her last night) or if she's always like that when she drinks THAT much.

Someone who is a drunk usually makes a shitty friend. If you catch her during a dry spell (when she's off drinking and is committed to stopping completely) things can be great. But when the drinking starts again, and I guess it usually always does, it's crap and then, that person is not only NOT your friend, but she usually becomes your enemy given the behavioral inconsistencies and the way many drunks lash out & attack. Blech and no thanks (n).

My older brother used to be a drunk and would beat me up as well as say mean things to me. Until I lost all the weight, now he just is mean to me drunk as well as sober.

I knew a guy in college who did that once when he was getting kicked out of a club and it was funny. but you can only do it once. CHOOSE WISELY.

my buddy has gotten like that over the last 12 months. we've known each other for 17 years, like brothers, and he gets angry at anything i say and starts a fight, almost every time he drinks with me around.
only escalated into violence twice...once i didn't speak to him for 3 months (while we were roomates) and the other he begged for forgiveness the next day.
you don't need to put of with shit. lay that down for her. and have the balls to not talk to her. i mean, no one needs that shit in their life.

The same amount of booze that makes her fight and fuss with trusted friends, is the exact amount required to make her fuck strangers.

Which she was trying to do. Going home with some guy and getting a ride to his house via his friends truck full of other 4 strange men, meanwhile, not having a cell phone or any means of communication, hammered, and she's never wanted to do that before.
I didn't want to see her in a gutter somewhere so I tried to talk her in to going home for well over 2 hours and she basically called me an asshole and that I was trying to ruin her fun.
The girl just went over the edge with the alcohol last night. Long story but I know why she acted like she did considering her circumstances (stresses, LOTS of them) but that doesn't make it okay.

I've been really drunk quite a few times, but I never get angry or mean.
But i have been enough to want to make stupid decisions involving strangers. Thankfully it's never amounted to anything. Ew.

Thanks for not seeing that as an assholish remark. It's a dangerous game some young women play.
