I recently was given an assignment at work that requires a lot of negotiations and changing situations. It has made me realize the one area many people are (including myself) lacking in, is the ability to adapt to change.

Change is inevitable, yet many condone it rather than embrace it. Most change is naturally occuring, without a doubt. The other change is manmade and the consequences must be thought out and either integrated into your life or negotiated to adapt to your circumstance.

How do you deal with change? Do you have any flexibility?

I want change and it kill me when there is none and thing are stagnants. This is how i find i can reinvent myself when change take place in my life , it is really refreshing and you can see some aspect of yourself that you did not know that exist Also it rely on our survival skills; thoses who cannot adapt well, have difficulty toward change or lack flexibility are the weaks ones. Beeing able to "swicht" easily of pattern and overlook over things and situation is one of the most important thing to be able to function in this world!

And i am really flexible but i cannot do the slip tho!

I live for change, too.

Being a very unorganised person, I find it easy to adapt.

I feel invincible.

I think it's something that gets easier as you experience it more and more. Change in life is the one constant.

In my non-work life, I'm very much habit-oriented in so many ways, but while I tend to resist change, I also tend to adjust to it quickly, and then I hate to change or give up that thing that I was resisting. :)

At work, I dislike change for the sake of it. Change that's ill-advised or that's based solely on textbook scenarios is crap. I don't mind (in fact I welcome) shifts when they're well-founded, when there's a logical, well-researched and supported plan in place.
