Pittsburgh was founded in 1758 and incorporated in 1816. It has a city population of 350,363.
The unemployment rate is 4.2%. The median home sale price in 1999 was $53,438. (I know 1999 was a long time ago and I'm very sorry.) The average high temperature is 82.5° and the average low temperature is 20.8°...which ain't that bad. But global warming might factor in here, in the future.
3.9 million people visit Pittsburgh annually, making travel a $2.2 billion industry and that provides more than 35,000 full-time equivalent jobs in the Pittsburgh region.

:D No, no, no...I assumed most people were aware about the rally back on June 23.
It was called Shut down Guantanamo: Anti-Torture March and Rally.
There was a brief rally at Market Square followed by a march to the Federal Building, Downtown Pittsburgh.
I thought people would be interested in the area. My bad. :) (y) :p

oh, that clarifies things, sorry I'm quite a distance from Pittsburgh and we all know that the news doesn't show stuff like that

Just got back from this movie tonight...
Wow, what an upsetting and shocking movie.
Basically these British Muslim fellows were only guilty of being at the wrong place at the wrong time and they were stuck in a hellhole for close to 4 years without being issued any charges.
If it's playing in your area, don't hesitate to see it.
