Yeah, it sounds kinda dated now, but if you like A Children's Story you'll pretty much without a doubt like Great Adventures... That's as long as you're not offended too easily. You should also download La-Di-Da-Di by Doug E Fresh & The Get Fresh Crew.

"great adventures..." album = timeless lyrics, somewhat cheesy yet enjoyable beats. classic shit regardless.

Escaped Alive Though The Car Was Battered,
Rat-a-tat-tatted And All The Cops Scattered,
Ran Out Of Bullets And Still Had Static,
Grabbed A Pregnant Lady And pulled Out The Automatic
Great record

When I lived at home, my mum randomly pulled out this album and saw the track "treat her like a prostitute"
she flipped big time..and tried to ban me from listening to hip hop. Ha. I was only 14 at the time

hells yeah it's worth buying. But they don't have it in my crappy record store.
don't settle for "The Art Of Storytelling"
yeah, great adventures is...well, great. it's got a lot of pretty explicit sexual descriptions on a few songs (indian girl, maybe more, it's been a while), so if that kind of thing bothers you, just fast forward or something i dunno.
