I suppose I did hear the word "body". it happened about 5 houses down my street. or so. there aren't any suspects in custody. nobody reported gunfire. so there's a murderer on the loose. great.

and about that guy who talked like woody allen. apparently he does talk like that. my friend said, "yeah, he's totally weird." so the guy was hitting on me and not fucking with me. oops. sorry dude. oh well, the "pretty face, pretty face" thing weirded me out anyway. I am flattered though, as he is a handsome young man indeed.

man in the alley---sounds like they killed him else where and dumped him there. or they had silencers. I suspect drugs/drug deal gone bad/someone no get paid etc. Probably not a homicidal maniac or serial killer, so me think you can sleep safe at night Sarky. ;)

I'd rather it were the mob, than a gang. because shit like that doesn't stand. there's been a gang truce around here the past few years and something like this might flare up a war. :( I don't want to live in a gang warzone.

the victim's name is not latino though, and the gangs around here are latin...so it may not be gang-related.

one of the creepy things is that the article said they were still working on a motive. which means it's something other than a plain old stick up.
