This is something THAT SHOULD NOT HAPPEN!
These men and women are "defending" our nation and shouldn't return from war to be spewn out into the streets. What happened to "SUPPORT THE TROOPS" ?
Not only are these soldiers trying to heal from a hellish experience physically and emotionally, but many have lost or have their job's endangered stateside. Their bills have piled up and their not getting much support from the gov't and VA. What a disgrace....this country will have thousands of messed up people in 5 years.

That's terrible. Don't injured vets get money from the government?

It's those damn terrorist loving libberuls this time.
i saw a bumper sticker on a car today that said something along the lines of "JOIN THE ARMY, defend freedom, serve your country, come home, and have the liberals TREAT YOU LIKE SHIT" and i'm paraphrasing, but the last 4 words are definitely verbatim, including the capslock.
goddamn liberals.
he also had a bush cheney '04 bumper sticker and a "kerry/edwards; with this much shit you'll need two johns" bumper sticker. this is the second time this week. i should start carrying a banana with me to work

I remember having this as my email signature about a decade ago:
Join the army!
Travel to exotic places!
Meet interesting people!
AND KILL THEM
Many didn't grasp the intended sarcasm.
Bunch of hippies.

I own Conflict Vietnam for PS2, a lighthearted game, to be sure. Anyway, while walking a path through the jungle, a soldier says this.

Put a note under the windscreen-wiper reading simply: "Having read your bumper stickers, I realise you are a hypocritical ignorant moron. Congratulations on being partially responsible for every American death in Iraq, every war-crime, every mutilated vet, and every economic hardship in America today! With patriots like you, who needs terrorists? !!!"

Heh, I hope it's sarcastic. Shit like "America's Army" scares the crap out of me.

Battlefield Vietnam was excellent.

it's originally from full metal jacket (although maybe the movie got it from somewhere else, too)

Battlefield Vietnam was excellent.
I loved Vietcong, played it tons online.
I like war games, just that the fact that America's Army was a drafting tool creeps me the fuck out.

The recruiting advert in SOCOM Navy Seals depressed me. Still 0wn3d the game though.

Bush did have a disabled vet run in front of the white house with him the other day. Progress.
