Yeah! they did my beloved monster! And i think another one too. Did some of shootanny and a few covers! Tom waits and iggy pop covers.

They didn't have the show of the flaming lips, or the slickness of the who. But in my mind they kicked both other bands asses (y)

I imagine their show wasn't quite as tight for an outdoor audience. I saw them at a little dance club in Indy. Those black goggles were nuts, and the giant fan they had blowing to make the mock-pilot routine...

I made a deal with myself to never drop acid anymore but, I've got to drop 3 hits of gelcaps and see the Flaming Lips live.

Just listening to their music while tripping had me in a face melting stupor and now that I see their show, I can tell it would be a great trip and I'd have a perma-smile the whole way through.

I had an exam next day so was clean and sober. And it was like an acid trip anyway hahaha. Confetti and flashing lights.
