I think I posted about this about 2 years ago but no one knew what the hell i was talking about...
It should also be noted that this doesnt happen as much as it used to.
My problem only occurs when i go to sleep..(it seems like its right when i go to sleep)..
Whatever happens makes me paralized all over, i cant fuckin move. It never happens more than 10 seconds. I can open my eyes. I try to move my legs but i cant.
It sorta feels like i havent been breathing...
its really weird..
but cool in its own psychodelic kinda way.

your body becomes paralysed in the stages of REM sleep. you might be waking up in the midst of REM sleep and your body hasn't adjusted yet. or something

sometimes I wake up with my arm underneath me and it's COMPLETELY numb. I have to roll over completely and let the motion throw my arm back by my side.
The tingling is next to unbearable. But that issue you're having Justin, that's interesting. Sure you weren't dreaming?

You should try looking up some information about sleep disorders. I've heard of sleep paralysis but mostly in reference to children and adolescents. As a child I had frequent sleep issues like sleep walking and night terrors, recurring nightmares that woke me up, and other odd sensations of motion/paralysis while sleeping. I grew out of them and they stopped when I was around 16.
When you say it used to happen more often, do you mean when you were much younger?

What does your doctor say?My colleague has that and it's some kind of sleep disorder related to a lack of sleep. She says she's fully conscious but can't move. Happened to her on a plane once, and her head was on her neighbor's shoulder -- a complete stranger.

Not to young. I remember this happening when I was around the age of 18 when i still lived at home.
This has only happened about 2 or 3 times since january.

Maybe once a year this sort of thing happens to me, except it's when I wake in the middle of the night. It feels very real, but it's got nightmarish qualities to it, because invariably I think someone's actively trying to break into my place. But I can't move. I try to yell, and I can't yell. Scary as hell.
That happens me to me sometimes. Do you mean, when your sleeping sometime's your consious...but once you are and realise you become very paranoid/anxious.. can't move a muscle in your body and maybe sometime's feel like someone is laying beside you ready too attack, or that your spinning in circles. ? if so that's just sleep paraylises. people usualy get it if they've stayed up for so long, but then crash. and then there mind is still not ready to sleep but there body is in the sleep state paraylised wich can cause some fucked up expeirences while just laying there.

I don't know about the paralyzed sensation, but if you feel like you've stopped breathing...
my brother has what's called 'sleep apnea' (http://familydoctor.org/212.xml) and has to hook himself up to a machine when he sleeps! It's crazy yo. He actually stops breathing in his sleep. We're all very deep sleepers in my family though.
...but, fo realz, it's best to just talk to your doctor. Good luck with that, man.

my ex had the same thing. it's called sleep paralysis, basically halfway between dreaming and being awake, and it's terrifying. he'd have his eyes wide open, but be totally frozen stiff, breathing really fast, then he'd wake up screaming from horrible nightmares. scary shit.

^that was the thing though. it'd only happen like once or twice a year for him. not enough to be a big deal.
