I got this "weightless" leave in glosser/moisturizer/SPF spray on stuff for my hair. it's suppose to make your hair smooth and silky and as the bottle says "will make your hair look like glass" and that sounded pretty shinny to me.

you are suppose to put it on damp hair..which I did and blowdry which I did. my hair does not look like glass. no. it looks more like grease. like maybe i poored olive oil in my hair. my hair is clean, just washed this morning and it look like i haven't washed it in two weeks. I guess I used too much.:( and I didn't have time to wash it out and start over.

so I had to get creative and put it in a twisty pony tail thingy. I still look like a fucking greaser. it is very soft though. I will give them that.

So anyone else use a product that didn't live up to the expection and in fact became a total disaster?

I put too much gel in my hair and went swimming. Worse than an oil spill!

oh an this can be any product...not just styling products.

but here's another "styling" product:
know what else doesn't work to well? NADS. yeah. that's easy to screw up and then you end up with giant bloody welts. I mean it does get rid of hair..but also some skin too.

i used to use gel anti persperant, so i became curious on why i had some wetness a half an hour after i applied it, turns out it was the gel on my shirt

To get the greasiness out, might I suggest got2b UNGLUED? If you can't find that, and it may sound bizarre, but try washing with just a little bit of dish soap.

For shine (without the grease), I use Citre Shine anti-frizz serum. All you need is a little dab of it. It's also dirt-cheap. About $1-$2 in my area.

Garnier (sp?) makes my hair completely unmanageable. Too much static.

I was using a certain kind of deodorant, which was becoming too powdery that it left a strange hard stain on my shirts....No it wasn't sweat, it was the deodorant.

i used the gel deodorant and it got all over my shirt and it really looked like sweat(n)

so i was in school the entire day with my hands really stiff to my side so it wouldn't show but it was embarrasing cuz somebody finally noticed but thank god that person didn't spread the word about it.

In middle school, I was all about the bally, liquid-sort of deodorant. I remember this forest green t-shirt I had, and eventually, the pits turned orange.

I loved that shirt. :(

the only problems I've had came with getting lipstick that looked nice in the tube, then once it's applied they look like garbage. I gave up on them a long time ago.
