But men can father children pretty much as long as they live, while women need a functioning uterus. Maybe family planning really should be geared toward men, only.

That was a untrue statement. Some men can reproduce through out most of their life. Prostate cancer has messed up alot of mens reproductivity plans.

I think as adults, both sexes should be responsible for family planning. And I also believe that people shouldn't have sex unless they are smart enough to use protection. Personally I had to get my tubes clipped because I had too many miscarriages early in my marriage. My husband is 8 years younger than me and I have three kids (not his) so it was only fair for me to be the one to get fixed. However it is cheaper and less invasive for a man to get clipped. I think it is a personal choice.

I think there is a different level of psychology involved, too, but I only really know my own psyche. I'm over that, but I have to wait until my liver functions return to normal before I can get snipped.

All I'm saying is why do we have family planning clinics (and classes) that are aimed towards women?

Because women get pregnant and men don't. As simple as that sounds women are the ones that need family planning clinics to get pregnancy tests and other GYN services at a discounted rate and not have the family M.D. tell mom and dad you got knocked up. That is just my opinion of what they are.

^^^yeah most family planning clinics that i know of don't actually involve any family planning. just abortion/birth control/healthcare services, and free condoms.

Now if we were talking about educating instead of supplying then you can use the family planning. I agree with you.

When I plan my family, I want about 20% fast attack/long range and about 80% heavy infantry with lots of stamina and hit points.

I'd say ending or not ending a pregnancy and deciding whether to use birth control is a huge part of the planning you can do family wise.

Did you expect to pick out a new couch and a college for the kids at a family planning clinic?

thats true, but you know what im saying. "planned parenthood" sounds a little more welcoming than "cost-effecive abortion center"
