I found the damn cheapest place on the internet to get Frontline Plus. yes yes ya'll. that 1-800-petmeds.com crap is whack. 45$ for three months worth per pet, not including shipping. that's the same price as the pet stores or the vet around here.

www.PetShed.com had it for no more than $26.00 for three months.(y) only paid 6$ for shipping. it came all the way from Australia.

anyway, that's the best deal I've ever found, so I thought I'd share. any one know of any herbal remedies that actually work? would be nice not to have to use pesticides on them but they get so infected it's miserable. so pesticide are better than thier getting eaten alive by fleas.

fleas won't bite any mammal with garlic in its bloodstream. either eating it or taking it in capsule forms. much safer.

My dogs do not get fleas, I don't know if it is because of the climate where I live or what. Black Flies are what bug my woofers. I have to use Skin So Soft by Avon to help them.

Excelent. that's one we haven't tried. and it's something that will keep us humans from getting bit too.

next I'm going to start researhing plants that fleas don't like to be around so we can plant them around our place. and maybe a few potted ones in the house would be good too. ya ya.

I paid 198,- SEK (or something around that) for three monthsworth (i.e three squirts) of Frontline from the farmacist, I think it was much cheaper last year... but Chloë's been getting bird- or hedgehog fleas, it doesn't help on those. How the heck can I get my cats to eat any garlic pills? Trying to push birthcontrol pills down Chloë's throat is sometimes a battle...

i've heard only good feedback and results. some pets actually enjoy eating the cloves, in which case, go for it. it's not like their breath is going to get any worse than it already is. most you have to give them capsules, though.

you can get capsules of garlic and open them up and sprinkle it over the pet's food, or get a liquid extract and put it in her water. or shove it down her throat. either way. some people have told me that their cats love to eat garlic, though.

Yeah I thought it was common knowledge... I think we've discussed it before...
My friend had her cat on the pill for about 10 years before they neutered her. She was a vicious bastard, but the neutering calmed her down totally. Then she died of cancer at 13....
I'm gonna neuter Chloë next time the pills run out (if I can afford, it's much more expensive for female cat), hopefully nothing happens before that. Iris once got a grasstraw stuck in her throat so she couldn't swallow anything so I couldn't give her the pill and of course she got pregnant during that week before I took her to the vets... and then she got hit by a car a month later.... I would've gotten kittens for Christmas.... Now she rests underneath my midsummer rose with irises all over....
