Can someone please explain to me why, other than being banned, you change your I.D.? How can anyone really like/dislike you if they don't know who you are going to be in a week?

i used to be mike yauchovitz. then the board crashed and they had to start over completely. when i re-registered, i picked Bob as a name, and i put "i used to be mike yauchovitz" in as my signature

I truly don't know why people do this. The only reason I changed mine is because I was accused of something I didn't do and was banned.
