Does anyone know where they sampled the "See, I personally, I wouldn't wanna go out like that" from?
It was on some site once, but I haven't found one source that knows.

I always thought it was Yauch saying that.

yeah it sounds like Yauch, but if you check the lyrics on beastiemania (http://www.beastiemania.com/lyrics/index.php?l=carthief), it's a sample, hence the "", just like on "I'm a farmer", which is a sample too.

Now that I listen to it, it actually seems like it might be Yauch. It's even coming from the same "position" that the rest of his vocals are.

It is Yauch. It sounds out of flow with the rest of the song. More like talking instead of rapping. It sounds to me like it was taken from an interview with the Beastie Boys or something, Yauch responded to one of the questions with "I don't really wanna go out like that", and then they put that in the song. If that's the case, I suppose it is a sample then.

Yeah it's him. I can understand you thinkin it wasn't, his voice sounds a lot different. Like, at first I didn't know that it was him doing the egg man voice.

same, but in the back of my mind, i kinda knew it was him i guess :o
his voice is pretty easy to recognize, even if he was in a crowd of people, i could just follow his voice straight to him....
i always thought for car thief though, yauch was just saying that as part of the song. it just fits in so perfectly, i wouldn't have guessed it was a sample

I played "Car Thief" again, and I took out the music, leaving just the vocals, put the volume up, and yep, it still sounds like MCA. That's just his regular speaking voice.
I finally heard "Free James Brown." too.
