oh! just a word of warning to everyone about somethingawful. if you go there, and you see a picture that you like, do NOT try to post it on another message board, at least not directly. i don't know if they still do it, but they used to have very unique copy protection, where if you tried to post an image hosted on their website, it would show up as something obscene, like a transexual or a giant cock. if you wanna show an image from there, you need to right click it, save it, and host it yourself, use imageshack or something.

image leeching in general is a bad thing, SA just has a funny way of preventing it.

It is pretty simple, and comes in two flavours.

The first, complicated, format is a way of checking updated blogs, as well as podcasts. Can leave that for now.

The second, "live bookmarks" is a way of adding links to your "favourites" menu so that they display automatically updated content. One example would be my news.bbc.co.uk RSS feed that automatically displays links to the latest news stories, so I can go straight to articles that interest me from my favourites menu, rather than having to load up the website and navigate through it.

No, I just know her through myspace. That's about it. For now at least. I'm hoping to get to know her better when I get into the animation business, because I'll need songs for shows and movies, and maybe I'll need voices for the characters and such. I'm hoping she becomes one of the friends I make in the entertainment industry through my cartoons (and maybe more than friends, *crosses fingers* :)).

For her 18th birthday this year, I sent her 2 burned CDs. One was a copy of my Quarashi Xeneizes album that I wanted her to have because that's their best album. And the other one was a mix CD of Quarashi and Beastie Boys songs (with a little Public Enemy thrown in). I also included Jimi Hendrix singing "Happy Birthday", and I ended the CD with Prince's "The Most Beautiful Girl In The World".
