this is from the inmate holding area at the courthouse. the elevator went down, so they put those cute barricades around it, but only on the side where there's restricted access. on our side, it was ugly boards. :(

ahh, woops! i totally had consent forms so we could publish them but i didn't bother (it was raining - evidently) and so i'm basically putting pictures of them online without agreement, and as a member of staff. which could be bad if they ever found out, but i doubt it. sshh!

one boy at the open day - who was 16 - 16! and coming to uni! well, i guess it would be next year so whatevs - i gave a survey to about the event, asking him to fill it in so we could have some research about the open day and he could win an ipod, wooh.. anyway, a question was "who told you about [this university]" and he wrote, this is no joke, "MA SISTER CAME HERE" ma sister! speaks volumes about the quality of students it attracts, eh?

so, as i've already said before i'm the default cheap-photographer-option to accompany university events that we've drafted press releases for. i was working on a story which basically involved inner city kids, asylum seekers BLAH BLAH BLAH PATRONISING BLAAAAH, etc, that have been involved in an enterprise reach-out programme in their secondary school which happened to bring them to a new radio station we've established to perform some twee scottish music. just so happens this was at the top of the highest point of the university, so i took some snaps. good kids. oh, and they all signed consent forms and they're distributed to newspapers (the good ones) so it's not dodge that you can see their faces.

thanks dudes. considering the last job went downhill thanks to my stupid throat problems... it's kinda nice. I love it here, even though my plan isn't long-term (on either end though they do say if I want to stay they will find placement for me), it rules.
