I'll be at the Melbourne show and I'm actually gonna walk backwards the entire time I'm there.
What kind of walk will you do at the Melbourne show?

I read in TNT backpackers magazine over here in OZ that MCA will be introducing the 7th July Sydney show. Well, the wording states '...With an introduction from Adam Yauch' dunno whether its a filmed introduction, but it seems a bit strange to mention it if it is.

ah okay, its recorded, further googling found this
"This program will include an exclusive pre-recorded video introduction and post screening interview about the making of the film, with Director and The Beastie Boys MCA, Adam Yauch (aka 'Nathaniel Hornblower'), recorded in New York especially by Popcorn Taxi for this event" http://www.popcorntaxi.com.au/Events.asp?Event_ID=459

I don't walk. But I'll be there in the TDC Jeep, heat stashed under the seat...comin' down from a good Italian restaurant right up the street.

Anyone here from Perth? Where are you from, KP?
I'm interested to get your review.

The bass at the Sydney cinema was massive. Seriously chest pounding stuff. Good to see it on the big(ish) screen.

Sound in Perth was shit. The bottom end made beats like Apache and Flava in ya Ear nearly unrecognizable. Not because there was a bottom end, but because it sounded (at points) like it was coming out of computer speakers.
The movie elicited a lot of laughs, but I want to see the start again. Triple Trouble was pretty anti-climactic and I took a pit-stop during All Lifestyles.
All in all it was a great movie more than it was good, amazing concept. Not life-altering or anything, but a definite 7.5/10. More for the artistry than the actual performance.
Was that cj hood in the last frame of the credits with the DMC-signed T-shirt?

It was good, but even I was straining to recognize some of the beats. Still, it's a quality production, no doubt.

Yeah, good showing. A full house of mostly drunk Australians.
